We offer a Spanish Language Program for beginners, intermediate, and advanced speakers.   Our objective is to facilitate language learning through formal courses, cultural immersion, and contact with families and communities in rural and coastal areas of Guanacaste. 

Program duration and schedule

Our Spanish Program runs from January 15th to November 15th.  Participants can start at any time.  We require a minimum two week commitment.* 
The program consists of four hours of intensive Spanish language instruction five days per week.  All of our instructors are qualified and have many years experience in teaching Spanish as a second language.  In addition to formal instruction, students are given the opportunity to practice their language skills through activities including community service projects, volunteer work, and recreational activities.

Program fees

The cost of the four week program is US$1.500.  Program fees include:  four hours of classes five days per week, airport pick-up, homestay placement with two meals included, and volunteer, cultural, and recreational activities.

The program does not include: airfare, personal expenses, international health insurance, airport taxes, and return transportation to the airport.  

Each student should bring between $500 and $600 of extra spending money to cover personal expenses and weekend travel.

Please fill out and submit our on on-line application along with your $300 program deposit to guarantee your placement and participation in the program. 

Arrival Information

We recommend that students fly into the Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia, Guanacaste.

We will pick you up from the airport and take you directly to your homestay family.
